Horse 34 Catching Up
I was really hesitant when I approached this canvas. It is not small but borders on medium sizing and not one I normally paint. This is NOT a panel canvas, this is a stretched canvas, so the pricing is higher on this piece because of that. You could hang this one without a frame.
The colors patterned out pretty strong with my knife, not much pink but a flash here and there. It is a bold contrast between warm and cool colors; at the same time a bold race in this horse painting of three mares racing in the spring winds. I think I love it.
The winds have not let up here at home. The garden is thriving despite the constant breeze of 25 mph out of the south. Terry is working on the rose beds right now and the roses are blooming in every direction. We have a Mr Lincoln, Mr Kennedy, Don Juan, ... we have 10 different names... wonder why they are all men? Is this a reflection on the thorns involved? Just sayin... Roses are a bold flower, deeply filled with color and fragrance. What rose would you be? I like the one below. Audrey, our neighbor in Justin, Texas, grew roses so easily. I loved taking pictures.
After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly. Acts 4:31
